Learning to Thrive – new course for 12-15 year olds
This programme offers coaching and mindfulness skills and techniques to help you experience the best mental health possible, and to learn to thrive – confident in how to handle yourself, your emotions and life’s ups and downs. The programme is interactive and focused on practical things you can do right now.
Sessions will run on Microsoft Teams from 5pm-6pm every Tuesday for 8 weeks – starting on Tuesday 20th April 2021.
The programme will teach the following skills:
- Thinking positively
- Understanding values
- Developing healthy coping skills
- Understanding growth mindset
- Building self-esteem
- Using mindfulness attitudes and techniques
- Trusting yourself and being able to ask for help when you need it.
